  • Promoting immunisations within an Aboriginal community

Course Information

Assessment for the immunisation course is carried out using a combination of the following:
Attendance and participation in group discussions and activities
Role plays
Quizzes
Completion of an assessed workbook
On-the-job assessment.
Course Content:
How the immune system works
Vaccine preventable diseases
Contents of vaccines
Cold chain
Administering vaccines.

The course will be delivered face-to-face over three to four days, depending on the size of the group.
