Join the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group team as a Ranger Coordinator (Residential in Ngaanyatjarra Lands)

Ngaanyatjarra Council Group are seeking a Ranger Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to live and work in the Western Desert, supporting Ngaanyatjarra people to look after and manage country and undertake cultural heritage protection. As part of the Ngaanyatjarra Land and Culture Program, the Coordinator will work with the Rangers and senior knowledge holders to implement the Ngaanyatjarra Indigenous Protected Areas (IPA) Plan that covers 9.8 million ha of desert country.

Key aspects of the role include coordinating and managing remote fieldtrips, building a team, creating a positive team culture and working well with community to manage and look after Country. The role requires mentoring and facilitating leadership in others, and making good decisions in changing situations.

Join the Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service team as a Work Health and Safety Officer

Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service is currently seeking a Work Health and Safety Officer to join their team. The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Officer directly reports to the People and Culture Manager and is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and supporting Work Health and Safety systems, reporting and compliance across Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS).

This role provides organisation-wide WHS advice, systems support and reporting oversight to assist PAMS to meet its obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) and associated regulations, codes of practice and internal policies and procedures. The role supports the implementation of a proactive safety culture across all PAMS workplaces, including clinics, offices, staff accommodation, vehicles, outreach and community-based environments.

Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to join their Early Childhood Support Team. This is a unique and rewarding role where the successful candidate will work closely with the partnering Allied Health Team to support children up to the age of seven who have developmental delays.

Based onsite, but with a strong community outreach focus, the successful candidate will help bridge the connection between families and health services. This role will include assisting in therapy sessions, supporting parents, promoting early childhood development, and engaging with community groups such as Kindilink and Mums & Bubs.

This role will require the ability to show initiative in working collaboratively with and acting on behalf of local and remote community members by providing relevant information and referring people with disability and their families to the National Disability Insurance Scheme Coordinator
