The NDIS Business Solutions program is a state-based initiative facilitated by AHCWA and funded by the WA Department of Communities. The project focuses on working closely with WA ACCHS, that are NDIS registered providers and members of AHCWA, to identify systemic efficiencies and inefficiencies in delivering NDIS services.

Support Coordination Supports
The Support Coordination project aims to develop training resources and materials for developing and expanding the skills and knowledge of Support Coordinators working in the WA ACCHS/ACCO sector to provide holistic, culturally safe services.
AHCWA has developed a suite of online modules that complement the 2-day intensive Support Coordination training. The modules cover targeted areas identified during the training and will include Travel, Transport, and Budgeting in NDIS. Two modules are currently live on the AHCWA Learning Platform.
National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) NDIS Ready Program
AHCWA and our Member Services have created resources to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities’ understanding of NDIS services and increase the availability of culturally appropriate assets to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NDIS participants.
Together, we’ve crafted a series of animations and testimonial videos highlighting the NDIS, how to access it and what it can do for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a disability.
